Genesee Lake School now has an opening in our Food Services department for a Cook. This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. Hours will typically be 10am-6pm and will require a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

This is a part-time position that works Monday through Friday from 8:45am-3:15pm during the traditional school year with all major holidays off. During our summer session, this position will work Monday through Thursday from 8:45am-1:15pm.

Genesee Lake School is a nationally recognized therapeutic school for students with special needs. We provide educational, vocational, and therapeutic residential services for children, adolescents and young adults dealing with a variety of challenges and behavioral issues. We specialize in working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, and complex trauma.
Maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment for our students is vital to our mission. We are looking to add a fill-in Housekeeper to our team! Scheduled hours are typically 5:30am-2pm. This would be a pool-type position that would help with covering up shifts and would not have a guaranteed set schedule.

Seasonal Opportunity (Nine Week Duration)
Homegrown Farms at Genesee Lake School contains 52 acres of rich organic farmland planted with 2 acres of mixed vegetables such as potatoes, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, and beans, and 50 acres of row crops such as dry beans, sunflowers, buckwheat, and corn. The mixed vegetable crops are grown for the school kitchen to be prepared for meals for all Genesee Lake School students and staff. In addition, students assist in planting hanging baskets, 4” pots, and 6 packs of 75 different varieties of annuals and perennials from February through April. These products are then sold at Homegrown Farms retail huts in the community and through wholesale accounts. Perennial and annual flower gardens are planted and maintained by students during the growing season. These artistic displays offer not only beauty, but an opportunity for students to create and sell cut flower arrangements.
We are seeking individuals to work in our flower retail huts.
- We have positions available at Oconomowoc or Hartland locations
- Positions will be approximately 12-20 hours per week depending on availability and desired hours (will accommodate more or less)
- Flexible scheduling
- Some weekend shifts are required
- Morning and afternoon shifts available - Shifts will be approximately 5 hours long

We are currently hiring patient, understanding, and tolerant entry-level Direct Support Professionals to work with our students. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fields of Psychology, Special Education, Human Services, Social Services, and Behavioral Health! Direct Support Professionals must be available to work a combination of 1st (6am-2pm or 7am-3pm) and 2nd shift (2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm) hours as well as every other weekend, holidays, and double shifts. Must be able to be consistently available all weekdays between the hours of 9-5 during the 1st month of initial paid training.

Our Third Shift Direct Support Professionals supervise our students in a dorm setting during night-time hours. This specific opening will primarily work with our female students but may support male groups as needed. Some personal cares assistance may be required. Shifts will begin at 10-11pm and will conclude between 6am-9am. This position will also involve working a holiday and weekend (2 on; 1 off) rotation.
