    To succeed in this role, you must show an understanding of the emotional and developmental disabilities of the people you serve.  When you join our team, you will be enrolled in our training program designed to build the skills and confidence needed to meet your job requirements and build your career with us.


    As a Health Services Assistant, you will:

    • Pass a large volume of medication in a fast-paced environment
    • Be involved in all aspects of medication administration (delivery, PRNs, medication records, thorough quality assurance checks, medication tray set up for multiple areas of the company)
    • Check-in respite medications and review for accuracy in packaging and recording, and will deliver to group areas
    • Complete medical treatments and emergency nursing needs as they arise
    • Accurately complete charts and other daily documentation
    • Assist in other Health Services Department tasks, such as data entry, filing, assisting with student transports to medical appointments, etc as delegated by the Health Services Director


    • At least 21 per licensing regulations
    • Must have a high school diploma or GED; Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant licensure preferred
    • Experience in health services or residential care, demonstrated skills working with children in a medical role
    • Experience with intellectually disabled individuals preferred
    • Certified to perform first aid, CPR, and medication administration (we will train the right candidate)
    • Demonstrated skills with computer entry/typing and filing
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining self-composure and self-control
    • Ability to exercise good judgment and effectively solve problems
    • Effective working alone and as a member of a team
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Maintains a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and meets company driving eligibility standards

    Scheduling, Wage, & Benefit Information

    • Schedule includes every other weekend and 2 weekday shifts that are 7am-9pm. This results in working about 12 shifts/days a month, but still amounts to full time hours/benefits.
    • $16.75/hour
