    Responsibilities

    To succeed in this role, you must show an understanding of the emotional and developmental disabilities of the people you serve.  When you join our team, you will be enrolled in our training program designed to build the skills and confidence needed to meet your job requirements and build your career with us.

     

    As a Housekeeper, you will:

    • Clean assigned areas according to Housekeeping procedures and standards.
      • Cleaning duties include:
        • Vacuuming
        • Dusting
        • Sweeping
        • Mopping
        • Scrubbing
        • Sanitizing
    • Record usage of supplies and stocks supplies as needed

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 21 or older
    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
    • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience is preferred
    • A valid Wisconsin driver license with a good driving record is preferred
    • Must be able to conduct the physical aspects of this position, including: bending, twisting, reaching above head, kneeling, lifting, walking, standing (for period up to 3.5 hours at a time), bilateral manual dexterity, ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis and 35 pounds or more occasionally, ability to push and/or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.

    Schedule, Wage, & Benefit Information

    • Scheduled hours will be 5:30am-2:00pm  
    • Typical days worked will be Monday through Friday, however this position must work every fourth weekend and one holiday per year
    • During initial training, must be available to stay as late as 4:30pm
    • $13.25-$13.75/hourly based on experience
