    Genesee Lake School is a nationally recognized private, employee owned residential and day school dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, neurological disorders, or emotional disturbances.  In addition, we offer specialized programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Complex Trauma.  As a Council on Accreditation certified residential treatment program, we follow an individualized, person-centered, and integrated team approach, emphasizing positive behavioral support, therapeutic relationships, and developmentally appropriate practices.  Our 160 acre campus in the wooded Wisconsin countryside is a calm and nurturing setting where students from around the country gain the skills and experiences necessary to successfully return to their families, school districts, and communities.  Our goal at Genesee Lake School is to provide an innovative and enriching environment for the students in our care to learn and experience all that life can offer – to provide a place to grow.



    We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Program Supervisor!  Assistant Program Supervisors work in collaboration with their Program Supervisor to implement daily programming and activity schedules, provide coaching and guidance to Direct Support Professionals, and ensure all therapeutic needs of the students on their area are met.  As an Assistant Program Supervisor, you will have a rare opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of the students we work with.  


    Assist the Program Supervisor to:

    • Ensure appropriate supervision of students
    • Maintain the required ratio for coverage
    • Assist with filling shifts
    • Participate in the on-call rotation
    • Train new staff
    • Communicate information
    • Complete other tasks and projects related to the operations of the program.


    Wage & Benefit Information

    • $13.75/hour with a High School Diploma or equivalent
    • $14.25/hour with an Associate Degree
    • $14.75/hour with a Bachelor's Degree

    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
    • Demonstrated skills working with children and/or adolescents having developmental and behavioral disabilities with associated emotional, neurological, and intellectual disorders
    • Supervisory experience or training is a plus
    • A valid WI driver license in good standing with satisfactory driving record is strongly preferred
