Who is Genesee Lake School?
Genesee Lake School is a private, employee owned residential and day school for students, ages 6-21, who are diagnosed with Neurodevelopmental Disorders and/or Complex Developmental Trauma Disorders. Our mission is to dare greatly by transforming the lives of our students, their families, and the employee owners who serve them.
Why would I want to work there?
At Genesee Lake School, you will find a rare opportunity, an opportunity to be a part of something that tangibly and profoundly impacts the lives of those we serve. Our students have a variety of needs that have brought them to us, but no matter their background, it is our vision at GLS that every student leaves us prepared to live his or her best possible life, in a family or community that accepts and supports them.
In addition, as an employee owned company, you will find an environment unlike most other organizations. Here, as an employee owner, you can expect transparency, respect, and an organization that values your contribution. As an owner you will have the opportunity to shape your career and the direction of our company, and you will share in the benefits of our success in a variety of ways.
It is this combination of impact and ownership that makes GLS a place to grow for our students and for you.
